Changing your username in Outlook Express. Step 1) In Outlook Express, goto Tools->Accounts Step 2) This will bring up your Outlook Express Accounts Window. From here, click on Mail. Then highlight your UREC mail account and click Properties. Step 3) Click on the tab marked “Servers”. Step 5) Under “Account name” add @urec.net to your existing username. On the bottom of the dialog is a check box for checking "My Server Requires Authentication" Click on this check box. Make sure the check box for "Secure Password Authentication" is NOT checked You are now finished, click “OK” on any open windows and continue using mail as you normally would.
